Local Products

Many local products and souvenirs of Saraburi are sold at the markets and the following stores:
Food and Dairy Products : Products from the Dairy Farming Promotion Organisation of Thailand (Í.Ê.¤.), Muak Lek cooperatives and private organizations are sold, including sweet beef, salted beef, curry puff, vegetables and seasonal fruit like Nong Saeng mangoes, oranges, watermelons, custard apple, and cauliflowers. They are sold at Muak Lek district and the markets.

Local Hand-Woven Fabrics : The distinctive style of northeastern fabrics like Tin Chok silk and Matmi silk of the Thai Yuan people are sold at Tambon Ton Tan, Tambon Sao Hai, Tambon Tao Phun in Khaeng Khoi district and Tambon Nong Khae in Phra Phutthabat district.

Weaving Basketry is divided into:

Bamboo: Round baskets and those of other shapes are sold at Tambon Phu Krang in Phra Phutthabat district and Tambon Khok Yai in Ban Mo district.

Reed Mat: Striped mats are sold at Tambon Phu Krang in Phra Phutthabat district, Tambon Nong Mu in Wihan Daeng district, Tambon Song Khon and Tambon Ban That in Kaeng Khoi district and Tambon Ban Luang in Don Phut district.

Moreover, there are stone mortars, leatherware and industrial products such as cement, marble, glazed tiles, mosaics, and paper.
