Caribou Highland Hotel offers first class accommodation, travel services and tours in the beautiful Chanthaburi city of eastern Thailand close to the Gulf of Thailand sea.
The hotel provides fully furnished, clean and good quality guest rooms, restaurants and coffee
corner, a swimming pool, business facilities, tours and transport services. Our friendly hotel staff provide their best assistance to make your stay a memorable trip to Chanthaburi. The hotel is 230 km from Bangkok by car road.
Chanthaburi province itself is an interesting province. Standard rooms
We have 112 fully furnished standard rooms on 4th floor to 7th floor, with glass windows overlooking the scenery of eastern Thailand.
Junior suites
We have 6 fully furnished Junior suite rooms on 4th, 5th and 6th floors. The suite rooms have ample living space, and wider views of the country side.
Grand suite
The Grand suite room is located on the 7th floor occupying a large area at the corner of the L-shape hotel building. The fully furnished special room offers great comfort and relaxation in addition to the panorama views of the city.

Business facilities
We have 5 meeting rooms with equipment necessary for various types of conference, meeting and events. The largest room can accommodate up to 800 people. We can arrange the rooms to suit different types of business and activities.
Sun Flowers Chinese restaurant
Sunflower Chinese Restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel. It is famous for its Chinese cuisine and native Chanthaburi dishes. The restaurant has a large glass window overlooking the scenery ,and relaxing atmosphere. You can have your meals at the open-air veranda too. The restaurant is open from 6 o'clock in the morning until mid-night. Up to 160 guests can eat at one time.
For the luncheon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and dinner on Friday, we serve international buffets. Lunch is 90 Baht per person and dinner is 120 Baht per person.
The suggested local dishes are fried pork with cardamom, boiled pork with garcinia, chicken curry with cardamom, fired Sen Chan noodle with crab, shrimp paste sauce and chili, sauce and chili with baked shrimp, boiled Sen Chan noodle with pork, etc.

Rooms service
After the use we change bed sheets, blankets, pillow cases, and toiletry in the bath room. We clean the floor, chairs and tables, refrigerator, doors and windows and door handles. We flash the toilets and sinks. Left over garbage and waste are properly disposed.
Fresh air is let into the room. Lighting, electric water heater, aircon, telephone set, TV and electrical outlets are cleaned and checked whether they are in proper working conditions. Pipe water flow is inspected. Closet and coat hangers are also checked.
Building service
Cleaning of floors, lifts, walkways, ladders, and furniture takes place daily basic. Fire fighting system is checked by the inspection service according to a schedule. We keep portable fire extinguishers on every floor. These extinguishers have their set dates for the inspection and replacement. Fire hydrants and fire hoses are kept properly in working condition. We have two fire escape routes or ladders: one at each end of the building, emergency lighting operated by stand-by batteries.
Swimming pool is watched by pool attandent at busy hours. Life saving equipment is always available. Floor is kept clean to avoid slippery patches. Water is checked by our pool staff for safety level, and is replaced regularly. Common toilets and changing rooms are cleaned regularly.
The bath room floors in the guest rooms are made of anti-slip floor tiles to make sure the guests would not slip.
Laundry equipment, detergents used, water, dryer are regularly inspected.
Restaurant and food
Special attention is paid to the restaurant. Tables, chairs, utensils, stuff and equipemt in the kitchen, food storage places are cleaned properly time by time. We purchase food stuff from the suppliers who maintain high standard of clean-ness and safety.
Maintenance and repair
We have our maintenance team of mechanics and repair men who inspect the equipment around the clock. We also have our contractors for the scheduled maintenance and repair of important items such as air conditioner, water pipes, lift. In the case of emergency our contractors are able to send their repair team fitted with special tools.
Staff, training and medical aid
Training on safety (such as prevention of work related injuries) and health including the proper use of equipment are given to all new staff. All our permanent staff are covered under the government social welfare programme.
Staff are trained to take care of the safety of our guests while they are in our hotel. First aid and some common medicines are kept in the hotel. First aid training are given to watch keepers. If necessary we can call our doctor. We can contact hospitals to send embulance.
