LaLaanta Hideaway Resort is remotely located far away from the mass tourist’s belt up north and set amidst the heart of tropical rainforest with our own beach at the southern tip of Koh Lanta. It is truly cast away, but with complete modern facilities to make your holiday a truly fulfilling one.

You can dine either in Cast Away restaurant with its rustic design or right on the beach capturing the picturesque sunset. The Cozy Lounge is a fine choice for day time relaxation; comfortable stylish sofa bed with internet corner and library. The Ahoy beach bar offers natural beach atmosphere with sound of the waves crashing on to the shore in the background and soft trendy music which you can enjoy with your favourite drinks till late.

For sunbathing, you can really choose your own favourite spot from any of our many sun beds which are placed poolside or on the beach. We have 2 beachfront swimming pools with the higher sky edge infinity pool integrated with Jacuzzi and kid’s pool and the lower pool almost at beach level. Both pools offer an unobstructed view of the sea and of course, the famed Ko Lanta sunset.

Castaway Restaurant
The Castaway Restaurant is unique and stylishly designed; high hip roof with natural wooden pillars and decorated with hanging wood ornaments from the beach and paintings by a renowned Bangkok artist. The breathtaking and stunning view over from the pools to the beach makes for a relaxing meal on hot sunny days.

The Castaway Restaurant serves mainly authentic Thai cuisine; our philosophy is to bring true Thai spirit of cooking to our guests even with regard to the level of spiciness served. We also serve International Cuisine for those who miss their home town favourites. Our house specialty is fresh seafood which we buy directly from local fishermen on their long tail boats from the beach. Choice of seafood available totally depends on the fishermen’s catch of the day. Just select your favourite fresh seafood and our chef will cook in your preferred style.

Castaway Restaurant offers dining at the main hall with its unique ambience and a private corner with low chairs and tables which is a favourite amongst our guests. Alternatively, you could enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner with your loved ones on the beach, especially with Ahoy beach bar nearby to serve you imported wines and exotic cocktails with you meals.

The restaurant is open all day long till late and also serves snack and light fare when you prefer a light and hearty meal.

Aoy Bar
Ahoy Beach Bar is right on the beach under the shelter of unique bamboo structure decorated with hanging natural beach ornaments all around. Lazing on our nice and comfortable couch cushions facing the sea, you can enjoy from on our wide selection of beers, imported wines, cocktails and shakes. We play a wide variety of music and some say we serve the best cocktails and shakes on the whole island.
