Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht Club is located on Nai Harn Beach at the southern tip of Phuket island. Phuket is named from the Malay word "Bukit" meaning mountain, and derives much of its former glory and wealth from tin production which dates back 500 years. Nowadays, Phuket is Thailand's largest tin producer, but is better known the world over for its beautiful beaches, crystal waters that contain colourful marine life, fascinating local culture and friendly people.

Dining at Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht Club is always a pleasure, with a delightful range of food and beverage facilities to choose from.

The Regatta serves contemporary Italian cuisine with seafood specialties in a relaxing yet sophisticated atmosphere. Overlooking Nai Harn Bay, the setting is romantic and peaceful. This restaurant can be entirely enclosed and air-conditioned or open to the sea air.

Our resident Italian Chef, cooks up contemporary recipes reflecting simple, fresh Italian cooking. The menu changes regularly to provide guests with a continuously changing choice of tastes. An inviting bar, fully stocked with a wide selection of Italian Grappa and spirits is awaiting the guests rights at the entrance of the restaurant. The Regatta is open for tropical cocktails in the late afternoon and for dinner from 19.00 onwards. Seats 65 persons.

The Quarterdeck is an informal open-air terrace serving a selection of Asian and International favourites. This casual restaurant is open for continental breakfasts, light lunches, sunset cocktails and divine dinners.

Buffet dinners change every day, providing guests with a variety of taste sensations throughout the week. Seats 100.

La Promenade is a Mediterranean restaurant offering a savoury selection of fresh seafood, pastas, salads, and prime cuts from the lava stone grill. Open for lunch, cocktails and dinner, La Promenade is a popular spot for quiet meals.

For an afternoon cocktail or snack between dips in the pool, The Poolside serves drinks and light meals around the swimming pool for its guests.

Every guestroom has a spacious balcony which is a lovely spot to enjoy a selection from the extensive 24-hour room service menu. Guests can savour an entirely private meal in the comfort of their room or suite.

Facilities

In an increasingly health conscious society, it is essential that guests at any resort have a wide variety of sports facilities at their disposal. Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht Club is aware of this growing trend and provides activities to suit every type of fitness enthusiast.

An early morning swim in the Andaman Sea or in the outdoor swimming pool is an ideal way to begin the day. The fitness centre features top quality equipment, including free weights and machines that are maintained regularly to keep them in top condition.

The Resort has two well-groomed tennis courts open to guests all day long, and at night there are flood lights to enjoy a cool evening game. For the more adventurous sea-lovers, there is snorkeling equipment available. When the wind is right, strike out on one of the many windsurf boards.

There are several islets surrounding the southern tip of Phuket Island and the resort can arrange for day trips to these islands to swim and explore.

The Royal Spa

Over 300 square metres of dedicated the brand-new Royal Spa features 4 indoor and outdoor suites each with a total surface of more than 60 sq.m.

A typical Spa Suite include two-therapist private preparation room (separate from the guest area), two luxurious lockers for the guests, shower/steam room, a rest room, two indoor treatment beds, a Jacuzzi with relaxing Thai-style sofa, and one large outdoor floating treatment bed. All venues command unobstructed views of Nai Harn Bay and its beach.

Two Spa Suites have particular features which are a wet treatment marble stall where all your scrub, skin and body wet treatments can take place in total privacy. There's also a lotus pond, waterfall and sunken Jacuzzi outside so you can have a soak while taking in the view of Nai Harn Bay, the beach and Cape Prom Thep.
