For those who love spearfishing, we teach new PSAI underwater Hunter and Collector Specialty Course.

Dive trips in Pattaya. Wreck and coral diving every day.

Dive Sites. The main scuba diving areas around Pattaya are located in what we call the "Far Islands". These are the second ring of islands about 20 - 30 kilometers from Pattaya. The islands are controlled by the Thai Navy, and no permanent structures are built there (boat trafficis also at a minimum). These islands include Koh Rin, Koh ManWichai, Koh Keung Badaan, Koh Hu Chang and Kho Phi. Altogether, we have up to 20 different dive sites with visibility ranging from 5 - 15 meters. There are many different types of soft and hard corals, and large schools of Jacks, Barracuda and Tuna. Blue spotted Stingrays, Turtles, Porcupine Puffer fish and Moray Eels can be spotted on virtually every dive.

The highlight of Pattaya and Samae San diving is the two, superb shipwrecks. The HTMS Khram is a new wreck that was recently sunk by the Thai Navy for divers! The Hardeep is a 60 meter long cargo ship sunk in 28 meters during the World War II era. This ship is reasonably intact, and can be navigated from bow to stern entirely on the inside, by our dive leaders. Please contact us for more information.

Dive Thailand! Liveaboard Trips and Diving Safari.

Similan Liveaboard, Surin Islands Liveaboard. Trips to Burma. We conduct liveaboard dive adventures to Similan Islands and Surin National Park.

Similan Islands are quoted to be one of the world's top ten best diving destinations. The highlights of diving the Similans are undoubtedly the Manta Rays and Whale Sharks.

Surin National Park features best coral reefs and large reef fish. The most popular site for divers is the famous Richelieu Rock - a great place for diving with Manta Rays, Whale Sharks and large schools of Barracuda.

Night Diving

If you want to see a different underwater world then arrange a dive on any of these trips. The marine life seems to multiply by 10 with everything that you tried to view under rock coming out to feed just after sunset.

Experience a different kind of wreck dive when the sun goes down. To describe it in one word would be 'Eerie'! Then all those entry and exit points seem to disapear in your knowledge of your last dive and you find yourself diving on a completly different wreck - but it's the same one!

Drift Diving
Drift Diving

Drift dives can happen on any dive! If the current is to strong, to dangerous or just to much like hard work to enjoy the planned dive, then a decision might be reached by all the Dive Instructors to abort and go Drift Diving instead. There's nothing like doing nothing and seeing everything and your air will last twice as long because your not doing anything!!! - When your ready to come up the boat will be waiting to pick you up. You can even take the 'Big Buoy' in with you and hang on - the boat will follow your buoy!!! Phone and ask the staff if there a Drift Dive the next day. They should be able to tell you the possibility of one and the day it's on - our Instructors have been diving these waters for years!

wreck Diving

Entering the wreck takes training and self control when confined to a small space. With the PADI Wreck specialty under your belt you can safely search any wreck charted or uncharted and use the skilled learnt to better your dive wreck Divingand inevitably better your diving fun.

The Hardeep is excellent for training as the light penetration throughout the wreck is good and gives the un-experienced, rusty or non-wreck diver the opportunity to examine the world of wreck diving.

The HTMS Khram goes one step further with tight, dark penetration but with easy access to the deck and watch tower for beginners.

Finally, The Petchburi Bremen lies nearly vertical and goes all the way down to 40 meters giving the opportunity for experienced divers to test themselves to their own limits.

You don't have to have the PADI Wreck Specialty to dive on a ship wreck! But you will be limited to viewing from the outside - just like our buddy here is doing - It's just as much fun and I'm sure if you pair up with any of our PADI Instructors/Dive Buddies they'll still be able to take you to the more interesting parts of our wrecks.

Deep Diving

Deep Diving and the definition of deep diving could mean different depths depending on the qualifications one has i.e recreational diving says 18 meters to 40 meters is considered a deep dive and any deeper then it is said to go past recreational diving and into the technical side of diving.

As well as providing Tec/Rec courses we also provide the Deep Diver Specialty for recreational diving. Tec/Rec is covered in more detail in the Technical Diving section.

If you already have the Deep Diver Specialty and you wish to do a Deep Dive then our Instructors will advise on how you can combine your needs with either the Mermaid's I or Mermaids II boat with or without the need to charter your own boat. Please phone the number below to find out.

Wall diving

Wall diving brings it's own surprises and allows you to see all the different types of coral and Marine life live at the different levels of depth which is great for the AWARE Fish Identification Specialty. It also makes the safety stop a bit more interesting which normally bring the clown fish (below) out to play since at 5 meters this is now their habitat.

Wall diving can normally be done with our daily coral trips although there are a few places that a must if you really must do this dive. Call the office and we'll see if we can persuade the captain of the boat to swing by a wall or two!

Cave Diving
Cave Diving

Cave Diving isn't for everyone. Some people love diving under and around rocks, overhangs and chimneys into large caverns while all the time surrounded by a curtain of absolute darkness broken only by the narrow beam of a hand held torch!

But, descending into the black abyss that seems to stretch into the bowls of the earth is a sensation that excites many divers. Both freshwater and saltwater cave/cavern diving can be exciting, different but dangerous.

In Thailand we have one cave, that we know off, about two hours north of Bangkok and a mysterious cave somewhere out on the Sattahip Islands that hasn't properly been mapped yet. As of this writing we can't complete any cave diving because of the lack of them but maybe sometime soon our mysterious cave will show up
